WAL782 is a 1948 leyland tiger PS1 single deck coach chassis,rebodied by barton in 1957 with a double-deck willowbrook bus body,along with some other of her sisters,one of a number of barton rebuilds & specials over the years.Barton offered a parcels service as well as carrying passengers as the sign on the front displays.a fine vehicle & a regular on the preserved bus rally circuit.as well as being on display,she also did a trip to quorn on the GCR for the diesel gala being held on the same day.

1979 Ward LaFrance P-80. 8V71N Detroit Diesel 316hp, Allison 740HD automatic, 1250gpm 2 stage pump, 500gal tank, 20gal foam tank. One of the last engines built by Ward LaFrance before they closed. Completely rebuilt and updated by Alexis in 2008. Recently served as a hearse for our Deputy Chief / former Chief of 35 years.
